Improving data quality
Our strength lies in our ability to combine data from many different sources in a usable format. However, these countless data sources can also be problematic. The reasons for defective data vary from technical faults in data-collection devices to the use of defective data produced by other companies. Identifying defective data can involve detective work, but luckily we have top experts to resolve these issues. It is vital to have high-quality data, and this year we will be making considerable investments in improving our quality assurance tools and processes.
An improved user experience
In January 2018, we revamped the look and feel of EnerKey. The EnerKey portal is now noticeably more modern, with a fresher look and an even more user-friendly interface. Colours have been used more effectively to highlight important elements and functions, making it easier to distinguish the main functions from other content. We will continue to develop the usability of our service on the basis of customer feedback. In February 2018, we further strengthened our dialogue with customers by introducing a permanent feedback channel for the EnerKey service.
Data security and one EnerKey
EnerKey is continually being renewed. Early in the first quarter of 2018, we transferred all EnerKey users to the new EnerKey service and new login. The new EnerKey provides a data security solution that complies with the new data security legislation that came into force in May 2018. We ensured a smooth transfer by investing in both training and a customer advisory service.
